Information You Submit
Search Terms
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party company that operates that tool. Utah County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s policy governs its handling of the query.
Messages
An email or contact message may be kept long enough to review and answer it. Message content is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Details
Ordinary server, security, and analytics systems may receive technical information when a page loads, including:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- The referring website, when supplied
- Request dates and timestamps
Cookies
Cookies and similar storage can help measure how visitors use the site. A browser can block or remove them, although some site or partner features may then work differently.

- Measure which pages visitors find useful
- Detect faults, abuse, and technical problems

Outside Websites and Advertising
Links lead to Utah County release records, Sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, and outside search tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination’s own privacy terms control. Utah County Released Inmates does not set those terms.
Some advertising companies may measure activity across more than one website to select ads. That tracking takes place through the advertiser’s systems and is governed by its policies.
When Data May Be Shared
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be provided to:
- Search partners that process a submitted query
- Analytics vendors that measure site activity
- Advertising networks that deliver ads
- Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard safeguards are used to protect information within the site’s control. No internet service, device, or storage method can be guaranteed free from every breach, loss, or unauthorized act.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If a minor submitted information, a parent or guardian may use the Get in Touch page to request deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify the request, a person may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal data held by the site
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal data that no longer must be kept
- Opt out of certain processing where that right applies
