Use of Utah County Released Inmates means acceptance of these terms and conditions. A visitor who does not agree should stop using the site.

Utah County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no government, sheriff, jail, or corrections affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.


Nature of the Service

This private reference does not hold official records, confirm custody, release a person, or file a government document. It organizes Utah County and Utah inmate and jail-record resources and may connect visitors with outside research tools.


Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the service lawfully and without harming other people or systems. A user agrees not to:

  • Break a law while using the site
  • Stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person
  • Use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited eligibility decision
  • Attempt access without authorization
  • Operate bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools
  • Disrupt the site or interfere with another visitor

No Consumer Reports

Utah County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, consumer report, or screening service, and neither do its advertising partners. A user must not apply its content to:

  • Hiring, firing, or another employment choice
  • Tenant selection or any housing decision
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
  • A license, permit, or government-program eligibility decision
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Links may lead to release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal resources, or outside search providers. A link is not an endorsement. Utah County Released Inmates does not control the destination’s content, privacy practices, data handling, price, or availability. Review the destination’s own terms before using it.


No Warranties

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No promise is made that:

  • Information will be accurate, complete, or current
  • The service will remain uninterrupted
  • Software will be free of errors or security flaws
  • A partner search will return every relevant result

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by a sheriff, jail, corrections department, court, or other agency.


Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and its partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the service.


Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, loss, cost, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user’s conduct, misuse, or violation of these terms.


Ownership of Content

Site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Utah County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, distributed, changed, or republished without written permission, except where law permits.


Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when posted, and continued use after posting means acceptance of that version.


Ending or Limiting Access

Access may be suspended, restricted, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice.


Utah Governing Law

Utah law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Utah.


If One Term Fails

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only as far as needed to make it lawful.
